We’re proud to introduce Wain House – our brand-new, purpose-built care home in Westgate-on-Sea, designed to deliver outstanding residential and dementia care in a beautiful, modern setting.

Now, we’re looking for an Assistant Cook to help us create fresh, nutritious meals that brighten every day for our residents.

🍽️ Your Role

You’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, helping to:

• Support (and deputise for) the Head Chef

• Prepare delicious, balanced meals tailored to dietary, cultural, and religious needs

• Keep the kitchen organised, safe, and running smoothly

• Supervise and support kitchen assistants

• Contribute to menus that residents genuinely enjoy – with their input!

✅ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Environmental Health Certificate in Food Hygiene

• Positive attitude and strong team spirit

Desirable:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role

• City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification
